This was year two for me. There is no comparison with Jackstocks. They are each unique. Betty and Wolfgang were outstanding in their hospitality……and the food……the food was absolutely wonderful.
It was much easier this time, as I had some idea of what to expect in the way of meeting the people. Been there, done that, and I'm definitely going back!
I was so excited about visiting all my friends from last year and meeting the new ones that I wasn't even nervous. Going to see the greatest group of people on earth is a really fantastic feeling. I just wish they didn't live so far away. I did find some that are close enough to visit on a more or less regular basis, though. Didn't even know they were there.
I won't be too windy this year, so, to sum it up:
They are friendship and fun,
laughter and love,
support and shenanigans
all rolled into one big happy family… and I'm glad they are MY family.
